**Finance Assistant (Co-op)**

**£27,517.98 per annum**

**37.5 hours per week**

**About the role**

Reporting to the Assistant Financial Accountant, the Finance Assistant will help to deliver our Transactions accounts function for the Co-Operative Housing Associations
- Processing transactions on Accounts Payable
- Posting Income/Expenditure transactions and completing Bank Reconciliations
- Posting rent Transactions on System
- Assist with accruals and month-end commitments.
- To ensure that processes and duties are documented fully and are kept up to date.
- Dealing with Committee member queries and other ad hoc duties

**About You**
- Excellent communication skills both with the team and the wider business.
- Good knowledge of Excel and other MS packages and a sound knowledge of Finance and reporting Systems.
- Able to contribute as a team player.
- Organise own time and prioritise workloads, achieving timetables and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective liaison with internal and external partners
