Fuji Seal provides shrink sleeve labels, self-adhesive labels (pressure sensitive labels), spouted pouches, and packaging machinery on a global scale. Utilizing the technology and capabilities of the Group, we provide total packaging solutions to meet our customers’ needs in a wide range of areas, such as food, beverages, dairy, home & personal care and pharmaceutical products.
We are seeking a Machine Operator (Slitter) in our Finishing Department who has experience of similar machine operation in the manufacturing/packaging sector.
You should have excellent attention to detail and be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment to quality of the end product and ultimately customer satisfaction.
You will also need good problem-solving skills and proven technical skills, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and ability to meet tight timescales.
This role does require some heavy lifting (training and specialized equipment is provided) and is a Continental Shift (2×12 hour days, 2×12 hour nights and 4 days off).
This role is site-based in Gillingham, Kent (UK). Applicants should live within a commutable distance and already possess the necessary right to work in the UK documents. No sponsorship or relocation available.

**Job requirements**:
Previous experience of machine operation in a manufacturing environment
Excellent numeracy and problem solving skills
Able to work shifts, including nights
Lives in a commutable distance from site or is already relocating to the area (no relocation or sponsorship available for this role)
