**Senior Refuge Caseworker**
- **Full time 37 hours per week**:

- **Annual salary £26,317 per annum, with a 4% rise upon successful completion of probation**

Stockport Without Abuse (SWA) is a grassroots charity committed to supporting our vision of everyone having a right to live in safety, and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Refuge Caseworker to lead our Refuge team and be part of our Leadership team. The post holder will hold responsibility around service delivery and development, providing high-quality frontline support to victims of domestic abuse and delivering a proactive service approach to those in need of emergency refuge accommodation.

**Main purpose of the post**:

- Deliver the smooth and secure day-to-day running of our safe accommodation support services, and ensure that our safe accommodation is welcoming, and our support programmes are person-centric and supportive of our aims and principles;
- Maintaining and developing relevant policies, processes and procedures, incl. safeguarding;
- Develop and implement a safe accommodation programme of change, which supports self-governance, empowerment and user involvement to support progression to independence;
- Motivating the casework team and lead by example as their line manager;
- Being part of our organisation leadership team and actively contributing to the organisation’s development ambitions.
