Details of the current vacancy are given below;
Position: Warehouse Operative

**Salary**: £24 - 27,000 p.a. (gross) depending on experience. To be paid monthly. Normal Working Hours: 07:30 - 17:00 daily

Normal Working Days: Monday to Friday weekly

Paid Lunch Break: Maximum 30 minutes per day

Location: Lancing, West Sussex, BN15 8TR.

This role involves taking responsibility for incoming and outgoing goods in a busy warehouse environment. You will need to use your own initiative, be pro-active, self-motivated, efficient and organised. You will have the ability to work alone and as part of a team, including teams of temporary staff brought in to help with large incoming deliveries (e.g. container unloads). The job involves plenty of manual handling and forklift use, requiring physical fitness and stamina. Forklift experience is important, although current certification is not as further training will be provided. You will be capable of working under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will have a readiness to accept challenges and use your skills to achieve them, finding satisfaction in the results and the rewards. Part of the role involves converting stock from large bulk sizes into smaller retail packs, both manually and using/minding some conversion machinery and despatching samples. Whilst your main duty will be warehousing & production, as our client are a small team, you will be required to help out with other tasks as directed by the management, particularly during our quieter season.
