The Emergency Department at Salford Care Organisation has an exciting opportunity for a band 3 clinical team support assistant to join our team.

**Main duties of the job**:
This is a non-clinical role to support the emergency department management team. The role of a support assistant is integral in providing a fully comprehensive, confidential administrative, clerical and liaison role to the emergency department clinical teams. The main purpose of the job is to ensure that in carrying out their key responsibilities they are supporting the effective and efficient running of the department alongside the nursing management team to meet the department objectives and those of the organisation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Will include but not limited to
Providing day-to-day administrative support to the nursing management team.

To support the department managers to sustain high levels of efficiency and effectiveness that ensures positive outcomes and reduces the risk of harm.

To assist in the planning and monitoring of the ward KPI performance and support the ward managers in planning for improvement including supporting record keeping and data collection.

To provide a confidential, administrative, clerical and liaison service to the emergency department teams. Including off-duty, recruitment support, compliance reporting and any other administrative tasks that are within their capability that may be delegated from time to time.

You will be motivated, enthusiastic and reliable and be able to work well within a team, and will have good initiative and be able to work independently, with mínimal supervision.
