This Hub of the Nottinghamshire Crisis Sanctuaries is based at Yellow Wood Café, Chilwell Road, Beeston.
The hours are 5.30pm to 11.30pm Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
The Crisis Sanctuaries are a listening service for people struggling with their mental wellbeing.
It is a service jointly provided by Framework, Turning Point and Nottinghamshire MIND.
The Crisis Intervention Worker will be working closely with individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis/perceived crisis and/or episodes of psychological/emotional distress. The main purpose of the role is to assist individuals through appropriate person-centred interventions to be able to address and help de-escalate their immediate crisis experience.
- Be able to identify and respond to crisis situations
- Have experience working with people with mental health difficulties
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Be a good listener
