Fp&a Analyst

I am partnered with a manufacturing business who are ready for their next hire into the finance function. Whilst an established business, they are currently embarking on a turnaround project and have big growth aspirations alongside this. The person comingin will form a key role in this, and be an advocate for change, setting up the function in preparation for the growth.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Review business performance, monitor performance indicators, highlight trends and analyse causes of unplanned variances, providing business insights.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support tactical and strategic decision making (e.g. business cases, cost analysis, what if scenarios, etc.).
- Business partnering helping to drive the future strategy of the business, evaluate its current performance and identify risks and opportunities
- Support in the annual budget process, monthly forecasting and long-term planning cycles, including production of budget packs for the business.
- Preparation and development of financial models to support the launch of new products in new territories.
- Timely Preparation of monthly management accounts including insightful commentary.
- Timely Preparation of Financial Analysis and commercial dashboards to help understand key business drivers, costs and margin analysis.
- Full exposure across Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
- Monthly balance sheet account reconciliations completed within agreed timeframe.
- Assist with year-end statutory accounts and acting as a key contact with external advisors, banks and auditors.
- Assist with other ad hoc finance activities as required to support the team - e.g. treasury management, credit card spend review, company insurances, credit export documentation
- Ensure the integrity of the reported data and continue to seek opportunities to drive improvements.
- Continual improvement and development of management information and cost analysis, including working capital analysis
- Project work based around system improvements, reporting, controls and process transformation.
