An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Mental Health Practitioner/ Occupational Therapist/Social Worker to join our established primary care team in the centre of Hove with free parking and a wide range of other benefits.

The post holder will also be able to provide support, education and problem solving advice to other members of the practice team particularly in the areas of assessment and management of common mental health problems in adults and older adults.

Trinity Medical Centre is a thriving GP practice with a patient list exceeding 23,000. We have developed and invested in a large multidisciplinary clinical team to support the delivery of high quality care to our patients. Our clinical team includes GP’s, Nurse practitioners, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Physios, Paramedics, Practitioner Associates, Practice Nurses and Health Care Assistants.

We are a training practice, with many years of experience training GP’s and other multidisciplinary colleagues. We have a strong commitment to education and value the importance of professional development and we can offer a supportive educational and learning environment.

We work as part of a Primary Care Network which provides access to an enhanced workforce including social prescribers. We enjoy collaborating with our practice colleagues and thinking creatively about service delivery for the benefit of our practice population.

If successful, you will be working with GP’s and our wider Multi-disciplinary Primary Care team. The role is largely clinical with an expectation that you will have excellent assessment skills and be able to direct care with compassion and efficiency, as well as including mental health promotion and liaise with a wide range of statutory and non-statutory organisations.
