We are a family run business based in the heart of Truro. We have a large Woodburning stove, and fireplace showroom, and are looking for staff to assist in our showroom.

You will learn all about Woodburners, Gas, and Electric Fires, Fireplaces and Outdoor fires
- together with their associated flues, chimneys, accessories and installation. Using this knowledge to assist our customers in choosing the right fire for their requirements, and also on the basis of aesthetic advice.

You'll need to be good with people. A clear communicator with a good head for figures.

You will need to be good at time management, very organised and adapt well to working in stressful situations.

You'll need to understand practical matters - a lot of what we do is connected with home improvement, working with clients directly, but also with architects, builders, developers and installers.

An eye for / interest in interior design would be a bonus.

**Description of Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- Meet & Greet customers in a polite, professional manner, ensuring the company is represented to the highest standard with positive impact
- Raise estimates, and sales invoices both for showroom sales and sales generated online
- Place orders
- Manage customers accounts
- Website Management - upload new products and descriptions and organising necessary imagery. Deal with queries and process online orders.
- Upload products to selling sites
- E-mail marketing - design mailshots to new and existing customers to help drive leads and sales.
- Social Media updates - responding to enquiries and keeping the company's page fresh and relevant. Manage sites like Pinterest to showcase our increasing portfolio of works
- Promote finance packages

Key Competencies / experience
- Sales experience face to face and telephone sales
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- Knowledge of fires/flues/chimneys
- Work experience in a similar role or industry
- Basic computer skills
- Patience

**Salary**: £20,995.00-£23,920.00 per year
