**JOB TITLE: MATERIALS CONTROLLER**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To manage and control all aspects of the installation material control processes in accordance with Ithaca’s Supply Chain and Waste Management Procedures.
- To receive and action material requisitions in accordance with supervisors’ instruction.
- Liaise with onshore staff to expedite and control delivery of materials.
- To control the receipt & storage of materials in a suitable location so as they remain in a serviceable condition and can be located easily when required.
- Receipt materials as they arrive on the asset:

- Assist where necessary in offloading landed containers to storage areas.
- Ensuring that materials delivered are in correct quantity and condition, advising of discrepancies as necessary.
- Identify materials with work orders and locate them to a dedicated location.
- Informing owners of the materials that they have arrived at and where they are located.
- Ensure that material control records are maintained electronically and in hard copies.
- Utilize Ithaca SAP and process to control materials.
- Run and control the asset stores daily:

- Control materials through SAP
- Storage of maintenance and inventory materials
- In conjunction with department techs, conduct a regular rolling stock check of stored materials for quantity, serviceability and continued relevance.
- Control critical spares held on the asset.
- In conjunction with departments techs, re-order consumables, critical spares as necessary to maintain effective stock levels.
- Process technician’s requisitions where the technician’s conduct their own stock checks of consumable and pass their stock requirements to you.
- Ensure stock justifications forms are utilized and approved by RTL.
- Procure materials using Ariba and SAP
- Preparation and manifesting of materials for backloading, ensuring that all documentation and electronic records are updated to retain accuracy.
- Control, Package and Prepare the movement of Dangerous Goods.
- Control, in conjunction with the onshore SCM repairs coordinator, the return of repairs to ensure that they reach their repairer, are repaired, and are then returned to the appropriate end destination.
- In relation to scrap/waste, liaise with deck foreman regarding backloads/waste disposal requirements. Ensuring compliance with SEPA regulations and completion of necessary paperwork.
- General Duties:

- Ensure good housekeeping in all areas associated with material receipt storage and issue.
- Maintain an effective filing system which ensures accurate records/logs of all material certification and documentation.
- Control the issue of materials from the asset stores in such a way as to maintain accurate stock levels and close out completed work.
- Health & Safety
- Complies with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
- The listing of main responsibilities and main duties is not necessarily exhaustive and may be changed at the Management’s discretion to reflect the needs of the company. All personnel will be expected to assist other disciplines in their routine tasks as directed, to ensure that operational efficiency is maximized.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Demonstrated industry experience working within operations and maintenance in a similar role with experience of data input into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) would be preferred.
- Computer Literate (MS Excel, Word)
- Effective with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and planning engineering maintenance work schedules
- Experience in Material Management, Stock Control & Ordering
- Demonstrated understanding of SAP CMMS system
- Ariba competent
- Dangerous Goods by Air (IATA) awareness (unless shipping Dangerous Goods by Air requiring full certification)
- Dangerous Goods by Sea-Certified
- Waste Management
- Experience in producing metric reports on maintenance
