I’ve partnered with a reputable business based in Skelmersdale, due to an internal promotions, they are recruiting for a Accounts Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that are going through some exciting growth with various sitesopening over the next 6 months.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing transactional activities within the Sales & Ledger & Billing platforms
- Ensure month end report deadlines are achieved in a timely manner
- Query Resolution
- Liaise with staff at all levels across the business to achieve monthly targets
- Producing sales invoices for numerous divisions within the Company
- Maintaining and reconciling the sales ledger day book
- Maintaining records of invoices and any relevant paperwork
- Raising invoices and credits for all sites from charge sheets
- Sending out invoices and credit notes
- Raising invoices on Sage200 system
- Matching invoices to paperwork/scanning and sending out individually
- Assist and support with any customer queries
- Adhoc duties as requested by Financial Controller
- Create new customer records/details on Sage and send out new customer details

**Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- AAT level 2/3/4 (or working towards)
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a Billing capacity (essential)
- Sound working knowledge of Sage 200
- IT literacy in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good numeracy skills
- Well organised and efficient, able to work to tight deadlines
- A good team player with the ability to also work autonomously
- Promote good practice
