Job Introduction
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our existing team as a Care Home Contract Officer. It is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, fast paced team
Our Care Home Team has responsibility for the contractual management of approximately 600 contracts with external providers of residential and nursing care home services.
**This is a fixed term post and previous applicants need not apply.**
Main Responsibilities
You will liaise with a variety of internal colleagues and also with our providers to address any queries they may have. You will work as part of a supportive team and full training will be given.
This is post is for 22 hours per week and we can be flexible in how this is worked, either over three or five days.
For this role you will:
- Have good communication and time management skills.
- Be able to develop effective working relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Be able to use produce accurate work using a variety of computer systems.
An understanding of social care and charging would be beneficial but isn’t essential as a training programme will be provided, as well as ongoing support and development.
