At The Round, we are a burger-cocktail bar that is the busiest venue on the main street of Keswick. We are notorious for having a queue before we open, we’re the place to refuel after a hike so we have a wide selection of beverages to accommodate all our guests.

We have a seasonally rotating cocktail menu that aims to both highlight our favourite classics as well as the creativity of the team and spirit of the Lake District. The venue is split across multiple levels, with a terrace that we open up in the summer, and each section will turn multiple times a shift. As such we make a LOT of drinks. Hence, individuals who are organised, can stay calm under pressure, able to communicate clearly and work with others to succeed with find this the place that they thrive.

Previous bar and some basic cocktail experience will be highly favoured. However, what matters most to us is that you have the drive to learn, have consistent standards and are able to continue to uphold our reputation. While training will be provided on the job, this role requires a love of wanting to make the best drinks, attention to detail, the ability to be efficient and ensure that we continuously exceed the expectation of every guest who walks through our door.
