Care Assistant/Support Worker
Here at BS Social Care, we're looking for a reliable and passionate person to help support a couple lovely services here in Neath.
Your role as a Supported living support worker would involve working alongside team members in the home, looking after a number of residents anywhere from 3-6 through the days and nights that struggle with physical and learning disabilities.
Your duties in the homes will include taking the residents out in the community which will be 2-1, joining in on activities such as cooking, doing laundry, cleaning, making sandwiches and providing support with their daily routines in the homes. Overall helpingskill build in and around the homes. There will be some requirements of person care, supporting with teeth brushing, showering etc.
What we are looking for:
Manual Handling Training
First Aid Training
PBM Training
Good Communication Skills
DBS online would be ideal but not essential
We also offer free training within the company so any out-of-date training is still acceptable as we can do refreshers.
