**Operations Assistant UK / European**

An exciting position has become available for a full-time UK / European Operations Assistant based in Middlesbrough.

Continued growth of our business provides several career opportunities within the organisation. We are now seeking highly motivated individuals to join our UK/European Operations team at our head office in Middlesbrough.

The positions available are challenging, rewarding and require a high level of commitment. Training will be provided in house by existing members of the Operations team. The position is full-time.

**Role Requirements**
- Will have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Requires a substantial amount of concentration and accuracy and an ability to prioritise and use own initiative is essential in their role
- Will have good IT literacy
- Previous experience within the shipping/transportation or freight forwarding industry would have an advantage but is not essential

**Role Responsibilities**
- Control and Management of suppliers in the UK and Europe for Transport, Shipping, Rail, Barge and depot
- Communication with all Bulkhaul overseas offices
- Updating of in-house Management/IT systems
- Costing of all operational activities
