Consultant Endoscopist

**Job Title**: Consultant Endoscopist - Contractor / Sessional

**Day rate**: £1500

**Location**:Barnstaple Hospital Raleigh Heights, Barnstaple EX31 4JB

**About The Role**

Here at TAC Healthcare, we are expanding our teams and we have a requirement for a Consultant Endoscopist who will be required to perform a range of Diagnostic Endoscopic procedures.

This is for a new contract in Barnstaple Hospital. We are looking to support the NHS by staffing two endoscopy rooms, weekends only, starting 2nd weekend in March.

**What you’ll do**:

- Successful applicants will be required to demonstrate an exceptional level of skill in the following areas: Diagnostic Colonoscopy, Diagnostic Gastroscopy, Diagnostic Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
- Clinical training and experience equivalent to that required to gaining UK CCST
- Offer expert clinical opinion on a range of issues in elective gastroenterology, drawing on substantive experience in the speciality.
- Participate in the collection and submission of Global Rating Scale and patient outcome data

**About you**:

- Comply to the British Society of Gastroenterologist guidelines
- JAG accreditation.
- A UK registerable Medical Degree
- GMC registration with a license to practice
- Entry on to the specialist register for Gastroenterology or General Surgery
