Boeing Defence United Kingdom is seeking a highly capable and motivated **Supplier Quality Specialist**to join our team in **Birmingham, UK.**

The role will be working with a wider Boeing UK team managing the quality aspects of the supply base for all military products in UK. Travel to other Boeing suppliers around the UK will also be required on a frequent basis.

**Position Responsibilities**:
Management of a portfolio of suppliers including:
Supplier oversight and surveillance
. Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) review and acceptance
. Supplier development and mentoring
. Earlier Quality Involvement (EQI) and Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) implementation
. Continuous improvement
. Creating and presenting metrics and performance data
. Product verification and in-proces

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**:

. Experience in the inspection of composite, machined and fabricated parts and assemblies and knowledge of the installation of electrical/electronic line replaceable units (LRU), experience on wire looms and fuel systems would be an advantage
. Experience in the review of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) to the AS9102 standard, be able to articulate non-compliance/conformities to the document owners and progress through to a compliant resolution
. Good communication skills - verbal and written
