Due to continued year on year growth we're recruiting for an additional member of our Energy Research and Material Processing team. After training you may be asked to work hybridly; 4 days in office and 1 day working from home so will need a quiet secure place to work.
As part of the Energy Research and Material Processing team you will work closely with our Business Development Managers; you will be the first point of contact for our equipment customers - providing sales support, customer service, generating quotations, and contacting customers to understand their requirements. A significant amount of your time will be spent calling or video conferencing with customers and suppliers, both UK and overseas, to understand their requirements, progress quotations, and ensure we have regular contact with our client base.#
You will perform a variety of tasks using Microsoft packages, Sage 200 and Sage CRM and work closely with other members of our team, our suppliers and most importantly our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- _**Customer Engagement**:_ Including providing quotes, receiving and processing orders, responding to enquiries, after-sales contact.
- _**New Business Development**:_ Reaching out to new and existing customers, onboarding new companies and contacts.
- _**Market Awareness**:_ Provide background information and research updates.
- _**BDM PA**:_ Ensure your Business Development Manager has all resources to ensure they are organised and tasks are prioritised to maximise sales revenue.
- _**Team Support**:_ Share knowledge and provide cover for colleagues.

**Experience**:
- Administration in an outbound sales environment: 2 years (preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office (must)
- SageCRM and Sage200 (preferred)
- Second language (preferred)

**Working Hours**:
**35 hours per week (includes breaks)**
- Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.00pm
- Friday 8.30am - 1.30pm
**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time
**Salary**: £22,000.00-£25,500.00 per year
