**Description**

**Reports to**: Analytics Director
- Work either directly within a client's team to deliver a specific piece of work, or supporting one of our business' project leads.
- Conduct your duties across multiple areas of data science. This gives our analytical consultants exposure to a wide variety of work to enable them to gain experience in the many areas of risk, analytics, and modelling. At the same time, we provide appropriatesupport from project leads and colleagues.
- Projects can vary from a quick ad-hoc analysis or a review of a piece of code/simple model to a long-term engagement with a client whereby we become part of their team to build models, set strategies or execute IFRS9 models and create loss forecasts.
- We are professional without unnecessary formality, and both our people and clients welcome and enjoy this refreshing approach.

**Profile**

**The successful Analytical Consultant will be an individual who**:

- May have experience in financial services organisations
- Is familiar with modelling, forecasting and credit risk analytics
- Has experience across a wide range of risk areas. Specific experience in credit decision modelling and strategy and /or IFRS9 would be advantageous
- Has the ability to take on a variety of analytical projects and is capable of presenting analysis and its rationale to internal teams and potentially to clients
- Is capable of organising their own work and is comfortable multi-tasking and handling reprioritised assignments according to client requirements
- Can collaborate effectively with others, both within the internal teams as well as with our clients.
- Has a strong track record in their career to date, and are looking for their next challenge
- Holds a good degree in a numerate discipline
- Has strong problem-solving skills and good attention to detail; can deal with unfamiliar code and datasets
- Has experience in SAS or SQL. Familiarity with R or Python would be advantageous
