Solution Development Team Lead

The role is primarily concerned with ensuring first class service delivery and ensuring that all activities undertaken by the development team are completed to the highest of standards. It is expected that this role will regularly review working practicesand processes and will align with the latest technology changes introduced by our imagine product team. This role will also liaise closely with K3’s other product teams ensuring impact and dependency of product on project is understood and managed.
The Solutions Development Team Lead reports directly to the Director Solutions Delivery.

**Responsibilities**
- Mentoring and educating developers within the Solution development to adopt best standards and methodologies in relation to Imagine.
- Assist in bringing together the major deliverables and workstreams to affect an integrated solution.
- Understand and adhere to K3’s implementation methodology
- Contribute to scope and risk management, working with the project manager and lead consultant to ensure the project delivers to time, cost and quality.
- Build and manage relationships:
- With Core Product Team responsible for the imagine platform and extension framework. A key stakeholder and enabling partner delivering client, project based solutions
- With K3 Support - Interaction with support on handover of solutions and providing SME expertise and training
**Skills & Experience**
- Proven your ability to work as a team developing and delivering web based software
- Experience with Docker, Scrum, unit testing, Jira and microservices
- Experience with the retail industry is considered a plus but not essential
**Personal Skills**
- Must display a professional attitude in all communications with customers and team members at all times
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and driven to achieve professional success and be able to empower other members of the team to do the same.
- Must be able to delegate to team members and instruct them on the performance of tasks to achieve the outcomes required.
- Must be a good team player as well as having the ability to work without supervision
- Must show attention to detail and an emphasis on task completion in full.
- Must be resourceful, energetic and enthusiastic and be able to instil these behaviours in others.
- Must be able to get stake-holder buy-in and be able to get participants at all levels involved and engaged in discussions.
- The ability to adapt to organizational change and work within challenging environments.
