As part of this programme of work our plant and equipment will be modernised over the next 10 years, creating new opportunities for the business and our colleagues.

Based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, we are looking for a Security Officer. This role will involve delivering a range of security services across all areas of the site.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Work as part of a wider security team to provide security cover at the Sheffield Forgemasters site on a 24-hour, 7-day week basis.
- Follow all company security policies & procedures under the direction and instruction of departmental management.
- Providing security to access points.
- Security patrols.
- Emergency / Incident Response.
- Alarm Monitoring.
- Monitoring and reporting on security systems.

**About You**

The following relevant skills, knowledge and experience are required.
- Security Qualification i.e. SIA Licence.
- Minimum 1 year’s previous security experience.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Proficient using IT software, including MS Office suite.
- Security Gatehouse experience.
- Site security patrolling experience.
- Visitor Reception experience.

**Days/Hours of Work**

Ave. of 42 hours p/w. 12 hour shifts Monday - Sunday 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, may include working public holidays.
