Production Operative
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to work for a manufacturer company based in Berinsfield. This is a full time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as a Production Operative:
- Build, test, and inspection of company products
- Assist in the assembly and finish of moulded parts directed by the team leader
- Assist in the preparation of mouldings and bonding of boats
- Cutting, grinding and flow coating of bonded boats
- Assist in the training of other personnel including new starters, production operatives
- Comply with company health and safety procedures and maintain a clean workplace
- Assist in the production of sub-assemblies and manufacturing process when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in construction, carpentry/ joinery, mechanical or similar roles (full training will be provided)
- Must be physically healthy and used to manual work
- Has the ability to handle power and hand tools
- Good communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of team
- Able to follow written instructions and has good attention to detail
A bit more information:
- Monday to Friday 7:00am - 15:00pm (30 minutes lunch)
- Overtime opportunity during the week
- On-site parking
- Company pension
- Overtime opportunity during the week and weekends
- Salary is £25,000 per annum
