The role objective is to sell our Patient Handling range of GBUK Banana products via manual handling, operating theatre and critical care departments of hospitals within your area. You will be working with other sales specialists and supporting customers with training. You will endeavour to meet and exceed financial and non-financial targets in a way that enhances the reputation of GBUK in the market.
**The Patient Care Specialist Main Role and Responsibilities**:
- Performs all activities to maximize sales (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction, presentation and trial to closing and contract negotiation.
- Uses customer and prospect contact tools and systems, and updates relevant information held in these systems.
- Monitors and reports on market and competitor activities and provides relevant reports and information.
- Analyses the market place, develops an effective territory/account sales strategy, and presents the strategy to management to gain approval for implementation.
- Identifies and addresses all key decision makers (clinical, administrative /economic) key opinion leaders and key referrals in all accounts and reports on them to the national sales manager on a regular basis.
- Attends and presents at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
- Further develops existing accounts into new product lines and develops entirely new accounts.
- Attends and participates in key professional congresses and events as required.
**Administrative duties to include**:
- Reporting all account, market and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, complete and timely fashion.
- Plans and prepares sales forecasts by account, product and therapy for the territory along with proposed meetings/customer activities and investments.
**Required Skills**:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly build rapport
- Account Management and sales force skills
- Competent in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Excellent presentation skills and confident objection handling
- Ability to develop strong product knowledge to soft sell against the competition
- Self-motivated and results driven personality
- Full drivers licence
**What are we looking for**:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a sales, training, or patient handling environment.
- Thorough knowledge of the NHS competitive marketplace and NHS operation knowledge.
- Thorough knowledge of the decision-making process with customers (economic buyer, reimbursement).
- Fluency in English.
- Knowledge of ergonomics would be useful.
- Some knowledge of Marketing would be an advantage.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year negotiable depending on experience
