Come and be part of our new People Commissioning Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join and help build a new function at Cornwall Council.

We are one of the largest unitary Councils, we are creating a new function that supports both Childrens and Adult care services.

This is a new role and will report into the Service Director for People Commissioning. The role will work in a service along side strategic commissioners to lead on some very important functions. These will include;
- the purchasing of social care service and ensuring we have quicker, easier and more informed purchasing processes
- working with providers to help them be the best that they can and ensuring we have the right mix of talent, technologies, capacity, and employment models to deliver our commissioning intentions over the longer term. Not only will you be part of a senior leadership team you will manage a team of about forty staff to deliver these functions.
