**About the Role**:

- As a Casual Banquet Staff Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of events hosted at our venue. Banqueting and conference work involves setting up, servicing, and breaking down events of various sizes, including corporate meetings, award ceremonies and Gala Dinner. This role is essential in creating an unforgettable experience for our guests, whether it’s a formal dinner, a business conference, or a cocktail reception. This is a casual position, meaning hours are flexible and adaptable to suit both the needs of our events and your availability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Interact confidently and warmly with guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of food and beverages, including the importance of allergen procedures.
- Perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting, such as setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and other event equipment.
- Accurately follow verbal and written instructions to ensure smooth event operations.
- Work effectively as part of a team, but also capable of delivering small-scale services independently when required.
- Maintain a quick pace to meet the demands of busy events and ensure timely service.
- Good written and spoken English and Impeccable personal presentation.

**Ideal but Not Essential**:

- Previous experience in banqueting or food and beverage roles.
- Basic bar experience.

Pay: £12.82 per hour

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
