**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook various fried foods according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients as needed.
- Follow food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure the highest quality of food is served.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages or equipment issues to the kitchen manager.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a culinary role, particularly in frying or food preparation is essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new techniques within the culinary field.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £11.44-£15.41 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
