We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to work for a Used Car dealership based in Heathfield, East Sussex.
Our client has been in operation for over 35 years, with the idea that the customer is at the heart of everything they do, striving to make sure that every customer leaves satisfied. They are 5 star rated which is not always an easy task in the industry,which goes to show the value and ethics in place there. The service team is second to none, from the reception staff at the counter, to the technicians who carry out the work on the vehicles behind the scenes, they are always ready to give top-quality service.
As a Vehicle Technician you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repairs of vehicles, carrying out routine servicing and diagnostic checks, warranty repairs, cambelt changes, gearboxes, fault finding issues and working to agreed timescalesand completing relevant vehicle checks
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with every other Saturday 8:00am - 1:00pm, there is overtime available for those who would like the extra hours, and there is free on-site parking available.
**Typical Duties include**:
- Servicing of brakes, clutches and exhausts
- Mot work if licence gained
- Vehicle Repairs.
**What we’re looking for**:
- 4+ years experience in a similar role.
- NVQ Level 3
- Full UK Licence
- MOT Licence is also an advantage.
