**Kitchen Assistant**

- 20 hours a week, 8am-6pm on a rota basis, mainly weekdays occasional weekend work.**

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join us as a Kitchen Assistant at our Churchview care home. Avebury delivers compassionate residential, dementia and respite care in a high quality and lively environment.

**The key responsibilities of our Kitchen Assistant role at Coate Water Care include**:

- Assisting the chef in the preparation and delivery of food to residents in the care home.
- Washing up after meals and ensuring that the kitchen cleanliness is maintained to a high standard at all times.
- Comply with the statutory regulations concerning food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety at work
- Assist in the preparation of food for special functions
