**Job summary**:
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual with a keen interest in Health and Safety to join our team as 4Cs Coordinator Administrative Officer (AO). Applicants should be able to communicate effectively, possess good IT skills and work well within a professional team. The AO will be responsible to the 4Cs Duty Holder for the administrative aspects of 4Cs support to the Health & Safety team at RAF Lossiemouth.

This post is advertised as Full Time at 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:
Post Holder’s routine tasks will be as follows:

- Maintain and administer the revised Station 4Cs System in accordance with relevant policy.
- Liaise with Building Custodians to ensure Station Hazard Registers are up-to-date and stored correctly.
- Liaise with Building Custodians to ensure the 4Cs System is working in accordance relevant policy.
- Liaise with Station Infrastructure/Contractors and other Hosts etc as necessary; facilitating correct information flow where required.
- Promote 4Cs System Awareness across Station. Carry out random checks on contractors working on Station to ensure they are aware of all current procedures and are in possession of issued and current documentation.
- Process/forward any complaints/concerns where possible and highlight those out with your remit to the 4Cs duty holder. Identify and highlight areas of best practice.
- Conduct the programme of rolling audits across the Station to confirm that Area Custodians/Site Managers and Visiting Workers/Contractors comply with relevant policy and/or identify areas for improvement; produce audit reports and circulate as required.
- Update and maintain a List of Area Custodians for 4Cs purposes.
- Initiate the review of the Health and Safety brief/4Cs System Brief for contractors and Visiting Workers booklet on an annual basis or when policy changes and administer the distribution of these booklets to hosts - making it as accessible as possible.
- Track and monitor contractor numbers across Station on a regular basis.
- Collect legionella returns from Building Custodians, generating weekly reports.
- Become holder of Statement of Known Hazard forms - ensuring forms are populated by Project Managers and signed off by all stakeholders as required before building works can begin.
- Any other Admin Officer duties suitable to the AO grade as requested by Line Manager.

The ability to communicate effectively is essential as you will be engaging with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.

This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, confident using IT and enjoys being part of a high performing team within a busy operational environment.
