Senior Care Assistant - **Competitive pay rate of £11.05 per hour**

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Senior Care Assistant** to join the team at **Alexandra House, **our residential care home located a short distance from **Ashley Road**, the hub of **Parkstone**, **Poole, Dorset.**
- **Full time position (to include alternate weekends)**

**Key duties for Senior Health Care Assistants include**:

- Identifying the needs and abilities of our residents and delivering person centred care at all times
- Providing personal care and encouragement to all our residents
- Supporting residents to remain as independent as possible
- Working in a team to create a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the home and act as mentor to our care assistant team

**About you**:

- Experienced Care Assistant within Residential
- Social and outgoing with excellent communication skills
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible in the hours you can work and able to work every other weekend
- Able to work well within a team environment
- Holder of a DBS on the update service or prepared to undertake one
