Warehouse Shift Lead

We have ambitious objectives over the next decade with the team believing all targets are achievable through new product category launches in shoes and womenswear alongside the creation of paid media, CRM activity and further international growth to amplify the great product / brand assets we have already created.

The Shift Lead is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the shift operation for either inbound or outbound operations in a cost effective and productive manner, in line with service level agreements and key performance indicator targets. This key leadership role effectively manages all team members on the shift to ensure all internal and external customer expectations are achieved.

**Requirements**:

- Ensure all operational KPI's and company requirements are met, tracked and challenged
- Be instrumental in the day-to-day running and cleanliness of the warehouse, ensuring a safe, clean and healthy work environment
- Lead and engage a team to drive excellent customer service
- Plan rotas for your shift to ensure all departments are fully staffed
- Plan holidays based on workload and ensure all are recorded correctly on RotaCloud.
- Monitor and follow up on absences, ensuring RTWs are completed and everything is recorded daily in RotaCloud. Investigate patterns of absence and manage with the People team
- Effectively manage engagement, performance, conduct and absence of the team members
- Challenge existing processes, providing input on continual improvements which increase capacity and improve efficiency
- Maintain all warehouse operational standards and processes and ensures all team members follow procedures to improve efficiency for example managing order volumes, daily workload, and continuous process improvement of the operation
- Set performance targets for team members in line with our agreed SLA’s and provide regular feedback
- Monitor efficiency of operatives and work with Senior Operatives to ensure all KPIs are achieved
- Ensure put away and replenishment schedules are in line with production needs and ensure replenishment stock is processed in a timely manner
- Oversee the inventory of stock, monitoring stock levels and ensuring stock records are accurate
- Provide a daily detailed shift summary and handover record
- Any other ad hoc duties as required

- Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
- Knowledge and experience in warehousing Health and Safety
- Demonstrable previous experience in warehouse management at a manager or supervisory level is essential
- Experience in warehouse management systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Stock Control Experience

**Your Work Details**
- Working on a 5 in 7, 06:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00 shift pattern rotation. (This involves weekend work, usually a Sunday)
- You will be on your feet throughout the day, getting your steps in walking and lifting our clothing items
