Be part of one of the fastest growing private counselling service in the UK.
You will be working along side some of the most experienced counsellors in Nottingham.
We are looking for someone to be flexible and work weekends
We welcome bi-lingual applicants due to the diversity of our clients and we are looking for someone to work with young people and children with autism and ADHD and able to work with young people from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
We are looking for someone bubbly to work with children and young people.
The applicant must be able to maintain confidentiality and boundaries and be professional at all times.
You will join our team of Practitioners to provide counselling to clients and families
You will ideally have experience in counselling and will ideally have a track record of managing your caseload.
You must be willing to work in accordance with the BACP / BPS ethical and standard guidelines.
- Level 4 Diploma or a degree in counselling or higher
- Excellent listening skills.
- Confident and assertive in their approach to therapeutic counselling.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Up to date knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
- Experience of multi-agency partnership working but not essential.
- Knowledge of other counselling modalities
- Counsellors will be responsible for conducting Initial Assessments with both parent/carer and child, liaising as needed with other agencies involved in the client’s care to create a safe care package for every client.
Salary - From £25-£30 a session depending on experience.
