**The Job**:
The Head of Performance Marketing will lead the team in the delivery of the annual performance marketing plan and acquisition targets and oversee the overall acquisition and optimisation strategy across our direct to consumer (Agria & KC), partner and channel estate.

The role will hold overall responsibility for driving sales through digital channels and providing sales leads into the contact centre. They will own the overall governance and planning process for sales and activations. Additionally they will hold responsibility for supporting the channel team in acquisition of new vets, rehoming centres and breeders.

**Main Responsibilities & Duties**:
**Leadership**
- Line management for the Digital Marketing Team including recruitment, training, 1-2-1’s, staff appraisals, personal development plans, and talent development.
- Stakeholder Management including regular engagement with the Senior Management Team.

**Digital Marketing**
- Create the overall acquisition strategy, setting and delivering against online & offline performance KPIs.
- Utilise all digital marketing channels and tools including Google, Bing, Social, Affiliate and Aggregators to drive incremental visits and sales from our online websites (Agria, KC etc).
- Deliver leads into both our contact centre and field sales teams, tracking call volumes and conversion metrics to define success.
- Define to overall SEO approach to increase visibility and visits to the consumer websites, working collaboratively with the content team, web provider and IT team to deliver.

**User Experience & CRO**
- Lead the strategic direction of Agria and KCPI digital platforms to deliver best-in class digital experience for our customers including the websites, customer apps and partner integrations (KC, microchip providers, retail). Working closely with web partner and IT teams to deliver.
- Be the User Experience expert with Agria, providing support to all projects that impact our digital estate.
- Ownership of digital funnel performance improvements, increasing conversion across consumer websites and partner integrations. Utilise CRO techniques to drive incremental conversion improvements.

**Channel Marketing**
- Set the strategy and plan for the vet, rehoming and breeder channel to focus on the growth in both partners and activations.
- Support the channels in meeting annual targets and bring a performance approach to marketing activity.

**Performance Reporting & Market Insight**
- Deliver weekly performance reporting and commentary on activations and sales performance.
- Own the overall company wide new business performance, track both offline and online metrics.
- Deliver regular updates on digital performance, including visits, sales and funnel performance.
- Track the effectiveness of all media/paid media, including defining and tracking overall brand metrics as well channel specific performance (Impressions, visits, ROI etc)
- Contribute to the monthly marketing report.
- Own Market Insight, tracking competitors and over market trends.

**Partnerships**
- Ownership of the digital onboarding and management of the microchipping, retail, breeder, veterinary and rehoming partners.
- Work closely with partnerships team to define the strategy and roadmap of new partners and optimisation of activation performance from existing.
- Track and report performance.

**General**
- Work to meet the departmental objectives and achieving required quality results.
- Responsible for monthly plans that achieve the business objectives.
- Responsible for reporting and analysis monthly to Marketing Director.
