A Start-up Life Insurance agency are currently recruiting for a Sales COO to be based in their Swansea office
Overview of role
- This is a broad reaching role which will cover all the key functions in the Swansea Office.
- Underwriting
- Claims
- Payments
Key tasks include:
Project Management
- Resourcing the project (i.e., headcount / capital / third - parties)
- Management of any third-party requirements / deliverables
- Management of testing, identification of issues etc.
- Monitoring the progress of the project
- Reporting on the progress of the project (explaining any deviations from plan, additional out of scope matters etc.)
Sales
- Manage staffing requirements regarding the agents / consultants
- Performance management / monitoring and grading of sales staff to ensure sales targets are being met / exceeded
- Compilation of sales KPI's to enhance performance
HR / Headcount
- Manage staffing requirements for the business
- Ensure correct on-boarding procedures have been followed
- Attendance scheduling / holiday management
- Effectively handling disciplinary procedures & other ad hoc HR issues
Finance & Administration
- Ensuring the processes around sales audit, follow up calls, payment issues, complaints handling are being applied as prescribed
- Ensuring the underwriting system is correctly up to date and providing accurate information for bordereaux production and management
Compliance
- Ensuring that the processes around non-financial FCA regulated matters (i.e., TCF, KYC, advised sales etc.) are being applied as prescribed.
- Assisting the CFO in the preparation of non-financial information for input in the RMAR and any other Regulatory returns as required.
