**What's the Role?**

Haines Watts are looking for a passionate and highly enthusiastic **Trainee Tax Assistant** to join their office in **Tamworth**.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Tax Assistant to join our team in Tamworth. You will be assisting the team in the management and delivery of taxation services for our Owner Managed Business Client portfolio.

**Duties will include**:
With Haines Watts you will learn:

- Preparation of self assessment tax returns for review
- An introduction to Tax and the Tax system
- Liaise with HMRC to deal with queries
- Managing and updating workflow and tasks
- How to use variety of office and tax software programmes
- Understanding Business Structures and Finances
- Meeting and liaising with Clients
- Team Work and Time Management
- How to Value Relationships at work and in Business

**What you will need to be;**
- Punctual, presentable and with the ability to communicate.
- Be authentic in every situation and like to be connected to your team, clients and local communities
- Like to listen and understand, to show up every day with passion and to stand up for things that matter to you
- Be driven to succeed, take initiative and want results

**Qualifications**:
You will have 112 UCAS points from 3 A Levels (excluding General Studies) as well as GCSE Level 5 or above in English Language and Maths.

Training will be provided working toward ATT qualification following successful completion of probation period.
