Assisted lives is an established and experienced local provider of Care & Support Services in the Bradford District and surrounding areas.

As a Support Worker you will be part of a wider friendly team, responsible for ensuring that our Service Users receive high levels of Care & Support within their homes; when out in the community and assisting with hospital discharges.

- _Cleaning & Laundry_

As a Night Roaming Carer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our service users during the night. Your responsibilities will include:
**Personal Care and Welfare Checks**:Conduct personal care calls and welfare checks to ensure service users feel safe, secure, and are treated with dignity and respect.
Repositioning: Assist with regular turning and/or repositioning of service users to prevent discomfort and pressure sores.

**Pressure Area Care**:Provide appropriate care for pressure areas to maintain skin integrity.
Toileting and Continence Care: Assist with toileting needs and continence care as required.
Specialist Needs: Offer care tailored to individuals with specialist needs, ensuring their specific requirements are met.

**Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care**: Monitor and provide welfare checks for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s to ensure their safety and comfort.

**Fluid Intake**:Encourage and prompt service users to maintain adequate fluid intake throughout the night.

**Mobility Assistance**:Support individuals with physical disabilities in their mobility needs during the night.

**Post-Hospital Support**: Provide extra support for individuals returning home from hospital during their initial recovery period.

**Collaboration with Emergency Services**: Work alongside out-of-hours support and/or emergency services as necessary.

NVQ level 2 or a Diploma in Health & Social Care is desirable but NOT necessary.

**Driving License and access to your own vehicle is ESSENTIAL.**
