We are currently recruiting an Engineering Manager, to join the Operations team in the Scotland North region. The role will report to the Regional Manager.

**What will you be doing day to day?**
- Managing and leading a group of operational Team Managers
- Ensure all policy and procedures are adhered to
- Ensure all depot activity is delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Ensure SGN strategic objectives are achieved
- Interpretation of Management Information to ensure delivery of targets
- Focused delivery of Safety, Performance, People, Customers and Our World
- Investigate, review and implement new techniques to continually innovate and develop
- Close liaison with customers, local authorities and other external bodies
- Coaching and development of Team managers and industrial staff

**What you’ll need**

We’re also looking for;
- You will have an analytical approach that will enable you to identify operational issues and implement effective and efficient solutions.
- You will have the skill and drive to successfully deliver depot targets whilst guiding behaviours to make our company the leading operator of gas networks in the UK.
- You must have previous experience at management / supervisory level, and you will have good influencing, coaching and communication skills and work with honesty and integrity at all times. You will also be totally committed to safety and the need to provideour customers with the very highest levels of service and will have the appropriate technical experience and qualifications to succeed at this level.

This post will involve an element of travel, and therefore you will have a valid driving license.
