We have an exciting new job opportunity for an experience Head Waiter to join our team.

We would like to add an experienced Head Waiter to work the evenings at our Friendly and busy restaurant situated in Bassaleg, Newport.

The Hours for this job role are:
Wednesday - Saturday: 5pm-10pm/11pm

Sunday: 12pm - 6pm

**Other hours also available but must be available for the above shifts every week**

All applicants MUST be 18 years old or over and have previous experience of being a Head Waiter.

Head Waiters are the dining room supervisors for our dining establishments. Their job is to provide great customer service while performing their regular server duties, as well as managing their fellow servers. One must be a great multi-tasker and quick decision maker to succeed in this position.

The job role shall include the below duties:

- Maintain an upbeat and friendly attitude throughout this process.
- Take food and drink orders from their tables, communicating with the kitchen and bar staff to place food and drink orders. They also check that the waitstaff place orders correctly and deliver them to the correct tables.
- Deliver food and drinks to the tables.
- Clear and relay tables.
- Set up tables according to the shifts table plan.
- Take Bill payments at the table.
- Work with all other team members to provide the best and most efficient customer service for all guests.

This job role is paid hourly between £8 - £11 per hour depending on age and experience and you will received tips on top of your wages once a month of which are shared out equally with the team.
