An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Receptionist / Client Care Advisor to join the team at our Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Referral Centre based in Farmoor, Oxford.

Your primary role will require you to be one of the first point of contacts for clients and the referring vets at the first stage of the booking procedure. You will need to be able to provide a warm, friendly welcome to our clients and show empathy at certain times. You will help to answer client queries and direct them to other team members where appropriate.

**Main Responsibilities**

Registering clients on to the computer system

Confirmation to Referring veterinarian that the referral is being processed.

Providing client information packs

Assisting in booking of procedures

Reception duties including answering the phone, arriving clients, processing card/cash payments.

Complete end of day cashing up.

Helping to liaise with team members regarding medication and any queries.

Keeping accurate records.

Assisting with administrative duties

General Administration such as scanning, preparing medical paperwork and filing

Ensure the smooth running of the diary and manage client’s expectations.

Helping to keep the reception / consult rooms clean and tidy.

**Knowledge and Skills**

As a Client Care Assistant, you will provide a friendly, efficient and professional service for our clients and the referring vets.

Be a team player with the ability to establish positive working relationships and support the team

Experience in a veterinary / clinical environment would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be given.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

- Oxford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (required)
