**Role: Senior Systems Accountant**

**Location: Greater Manchester, UK (Hybrid)**

**Salary: £60,628**

Panoramic associates are working with a large organisation within the public sector situated in Greater Manchester. A national organisation specialising within the housing and property development sector, this is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing,multi-million pound turnover company who are making a substantial positive impact in people's lives across the UK.

**The Role**:
They are looking for a **Senior Systems Accountant** to manage financial systems and associated services across the organisation to provide high quality financial reporting, controls and processes supporting strong financial management. Theymust have**thorough experience providing accountancy services within large organisations**and must be a qualified accountant (ACCA). You will be contributing to the operation and development of a high-quality finance system to support excellent financial management, control, and reporting with a focus on increased automation and improvingreporting.

The Role:

- Provide high quality day to day systems support to users of the finance systems, ensuring timely and effective resolution of queries and development of appropriate solutions as required.
- Develop and implement finance systems training to users across all sites to ensure effective use of the systems.
- Act as the finance systems lead for projects across the organisation
- Lead on complex technical system improvement projects and support the re-design of business processes as required, ensuring processes and controls are fully documented.
- Ensure data integrity across the finance systems including robust change control and appropriate segregation of duties.
- Ensure all finance processes are documented and fully tested.
- Maintain strong relationships with IT, Data Analytics and Finance staff, and external support providers.
- Develop reporting from Oracle and other relevant financial systems to service management information needs.

You'll be an experienced Senior Systems Accountant and will be able to demonstrate:

- ACCA or FCCA Qualified
- Substantial experience of finance business partnering for local authorities
- Member of CIMA or CCAB body
