**Duties**
- Monitor entrance and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the venue using CCTV equipment to detect any suspicious behaviour or incidents.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
- Greet patrons upon entry, checking identification as necessary to ensure compliance with age restrictions.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when required and liaising with emergency services as needed.
- Maintain a visible presence within the venue, promoting a safe and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any occurrences during shifts.
- Collaborate with management and staff to develop security protocols that enhance overall safety measures.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, including the use of CCTV systems.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and practices.
- First aid certification is highly desirable; training may be provided if necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential risks or issues.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations.

**Job Types**: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Security : 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- SIA Door Supervisor (required)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
