This team is looking to take on a Compliance Assistant as soon as possible to assist their team. The successful applicant will report directly to the firm’s Head Cashier and will cover all aspects of financial compliance to ensure standards and timeframesare met in line with the SRA Accounts Rules and internal policies. Liaising with fee earners and secretaries to maximise co-operation. The firm are hoping to take on someone hard-hitting and innovative who has different methods in which they contact clients,rather than sending standard templates every two weeks. This is all while keeping in mind that client care comes first, and situations should never be taken too far.

Some of the central duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

- To assist in the identification of residual balances
- Ensuring that funds being paid are in line with the SRA Accounts Rules
- Requesting approval from the SRA to withdraw client funds when necessary
- To review fee and expense estimates, liaising with legal teams and updating when necessary
- Reviewing and approving financial/completion statements

**Location**:Tunbridge Wells (hybrid working)
**Salary**:£25,000 - £27,000 FTE
