**Are you interested in supporting children with challenge behaviour?**

A warm and friendly mainstream primary school located Reading is searching for an Behavioural Support Assistant to support children challenging behaviour. This mainstream Primary school are seeking an applicant with strong behaviour management skills, acompassionate ear, and excellent patience to assist with a child who has significant behavioural issues. The child has an EHCP which the successful applicant will be responsible for adhering to, and for developing new strategies for as their Behaviour SupportAssistant.

The school provides support for children aged 5-11 years who have a range of learning and behavioural needs due to social, emotional and mental health challenges.The school provides a safe learning environment for children who suffer with high levels ofanxiety, which can result in a lack of focus and challenging behaviour.

This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for any Psychology Graduate to work alongside the therapists and psychologists based on-site at school. You will be mentored and have the opportunity to shadow sessions and learn from them. Plus you will gain invaluable experienceworking with Special Needs and Mental Health issues. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring educational or occupational psychologist, therapeutic support worker or SEN teacher.

TheSchool is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can bring enthusiasm, passion and experience to the classroom. They are looking for a SEN TA who will be proactive and adaptable and be able to use their own initiative. Resilience and confidence to workwith challenging behaviour is desirable

- Full-time Mon-Fri 8.30am to 4pm

The SEN children in this school require a teaching assistant who understands their complex needs and is open-minded and up for a challenge. The children have varying needs although SEMH is the main provision. Suitable experience can include working withSEN children and/or adults in any setting, even on a personal level such as with family. Level 3 qualifications+ are also required and a Degree would be most desirable.
