A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join this excellent company synonymous with quality and a reputation for excellence. Role & Responsibilities:

- Create CAD models and subsequent Bill of Materials in SolidWorks and co-ordinate the design

with other parties.
- Attend design meetings/reviews and communicate your design intent.
- Take part in reviews of new/revised design proposals, including reviewing manufacturing and

assembly costs.
- Prepare drawings for sub-contractors both in UK and overseas, carry out liaison work with subcontractors including resolving issues in the design and its interpretation.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, production or process environments
- Experience working with SolidWorks
- Familiarity with pneumatics, electric motors & electronic control systems.

Package and Benefits:

- £30,000 - £35,000
- 22 days + bank holidays, increasing with service
