**Residential Support Worker**

Lantern Care Homes are proud to be a new and growing social care provider in the region and are searching for a residential support worker to join their team located in South Derbyshire.

The role is full time and offers a very competitive salary of starting at £21,500.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging and very rewarding environment, supporting young people to become independent and building invaluable relationships and trust. Previous experience in health and social care is essential to be considered for this position. Any experience working directly with children aged 8-18 years old would be beneficial.

On offer is a fully funded, accredited training programme which offers you an excellent career progression to develop.

Qualification Level 3 diploma in Children & young peoples residential is desirable, you will be enrolled after 6 months of satisfactory employment if you are not qualified.

Desirable - 1 years experience working in a residential setting with children and young people

- Flexiblity to work long days (10:00 - 23:00) and sleep ins
- Full driving license desirable or if you are in the latter stages of gaining your license
- The opportunity to gain the NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
