**Who we need**:
The Trust is seeking an experienced individual to step into the new role of Associate Director of Digital Clinical Solutions to lead and manage the Clinical Solutions team. We are looking for an individual who can think laterally, and pragmatically to deliver clinically-focussed Digital Solutions to the Trust and our healthcare partners, who has experience of team management with a participative and empowering style.
The Trust has recently implemented a new Trust wide electronic patient record (EPR) system - Cerner Millennium in 2021; as part of the ongoing commitment to this programme the Trust has approved a business case to support the development of the EPR which includes an investment of 14 new posts in the Clinical Systems team as well as xx additional posts in the wider IM&T team.
You will be expected to lead a team of Clinical System Managers and analysts; managing the overall delivery of the clinical solutions work programme in the Informatics portfolio including ongoing support, stabilisation of the EPR, optimisation work and new project work. We actively support flexible working while ensuring that we meet the needs of the organisation.
The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.
The Trust provides services in all of the surgical and medical specialties common to a District General Hospital with some specialist services. The Trust serves the whole of the local population currently in excess of 250,000 residents which geographically covers populations in England and North Wales.
The Trust strives to continuously improve and sustain the quality of its services for patients, providing care to more than 445,000 patients per year, with almost 4,000 staff working together putting quality and patient safety, at the heart of everything we do. The organisation provides a wide range of services offering health care to the whole spectrum of the population from birth to the end of life. The Trust complies with its terms of authorisation as a Foundation Trust.
