**Intertek SAI Global Assurance** utilises its globally recognised brand to mitigate risks across organisations’ processes, operations and supply chains. It provides Assurance services, including management systems certification and second party audits across a wide variety of end-markets. In addition to management systems certifications, SAI Global Assurance has a particularly strong position in the Food, Agriculture and QSR end-markets, as well as a good presence in environmental & sustainability audits.

**ABOUT YOU**

Required skills/experience:

- Experience of working in a retail, restaurant, or food factory/processing environment alongside experience of being audited, or conducting audits, would be highly desirable
- Ideally, have previous work experience in the Food Service industry, with some exposure to Food Safety, however, full training can be provided by our experienced team
- Level 2, 3 or Level 4 Food Safety qualification is advantageous
- Level 2, 3 or Level 4 HACCP qualification is advantageous
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety in a Restaurant/Food environment
- Mathematics and English GCSEs, or equivalent, are essential
- Full UK Driving licence and own car

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a **QRS/Retail Auditor **you will be part of Intertek SAI Global business and be travelling to clients’ sites in **Birmingham, West Midlands** area to conduct the audit for a variety of Food and Restaurant clients, including Fast Food chains, High Street Restaurants, and Commercial Food Venues on a **Zero-Hours contract**.

As an Auditor, you will responsible for auditing some of the most well-known names on the UK high street against the appropriate food safety, hygiene, and inter-company standards.

This is an important role in the fight to ensure food safety throughout the UK.

**Additionally, due to the nature of the role (which will be on a flexible contract), access to own transport is essential and the role will involve both weekend and evening work.**

**Zero hours contract, flexible working hours. Birmingham, West Midlands.**
