Assembly Supervisor

Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge and an opportunity to work in a fast paced predominantly aerospace supplier with a growing orderbook and portfolio of clients?

We are looking to appoint a skilled assembly supervisor with aerospace experience within our assembly workshop working at our Dukinfield (Cheshire) site.

**About the opportunity**

The type of work typically ranges from low complexity assemblies through to larger sized structural assemblies.

The company will also provide internal and external training as required / desired to further develop the appointed individual.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Aerospace assembly training, skills and experience.
- Supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
- A working understanding of operations and scheduling.
- The ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and processes.
- A willingness and desire to train and develop colleagues.
- A good understanding of health and safety best practice and legislation.
- A working understanding of the principles and tools of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
- Experience of leadership principles and management best practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment.
