**The Role**: Product Manager
**Location**: Hertfordshire
**Salary**: 26k-27k
**Position Type**: 12 Month FTC
We are looking for a marketing expert to join our client as a product manager for a Fixed Term Contract. This would be ideal for someone looking to gain further experience within the Marketing sector. This role will cover a 12-month period of maternity leaveon a fixed term contract. This individual will use their knowledge of our client’s product portfolio across various categories and their knowledge of the UK market to enable clients and internal teams with creative new commercial ideas for achieving the UKSales Division strategic objectives.
**Responsibilities of our new Product Manager**
When you join us as the product manager, you will be responsible for four main sectors:

- **Marketing Strategy -**You will be providing support for the strategic objectives of the UK Division. You will support commercialisations of new innovations and products to drive growth. You will work closely with account managers sharingnew trends and opportunities.
- **Market Insights -**You will develop great market insight across various categories providing support to various category teams. You will build and develop a clear understanding of the regions key markets by doing category reviews, integratingdata, conducting gap analysis, identifying trends. You will use information gathered to inspire teams and ways of maintaining a competitive advantage in the market.
- **Innovation -**Keeping up to date on the latest market innovations and updating the team on any relevant and interesting product developments. Support Marketing Manager, R&D team, and Innovation Project Management to deliver customer presentationson new technologies to target customers.
- **Interaction -**You will visit clients to present market finding in relation to the Client’s brief and pro-active briefs. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders throughout the process to ensure timelines and client expectationwill be met. You will translate cross category market trends and consumer lifestyle into relevant product and brand concepts
- Provide inspiration and innovative thinking to develop relevant concepts/insights and support new winning fragrance creations.
- Develop excellent presentations to inspire both internal and external customers in the region

**What we are looking for in our new Product manager**:

- Strong knowledge of the UK market
- Able to think creatively as well as commercially on behalf of customers
- Proven exceptional abilities in process management and working with detail
- Professional highly developed ability in written and verbal skills
- Technical capability using Microsoft; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Creative aptitude with experience in product marketing
- Ability to inspire and promote creative ideas working cross-functionally.
