**Engineering Maintenance Planner -- The Ochils, Highland Spring Group**

**Job Title**:Engineering Maintenance Planner

**Reports to**:Site Engineering Manager

**Department**:Engineering

Location: Highland Spring Group, The Ochils, Stirling Street, Blackford, PH4 1QA and support other group sites as required.

**Working Hours**:Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm (37.5 hours p/w)

Main purpose of job:
Creation and delivery of the weekly maintenance plan at the Ochils site to drive improvements in equipment reliability. Formal planning of line overhauls and capturing of all works on assets through the company CMMS.

**Key Result Areas (KRAs)**

**1. Weekly plan creation and execution**:

- Review weekly PM’s generated for each line and plan into the weekly maintenance plan
- Review CMMS work backlog for each production line and plan work as part of the weekly maintenance plan
- Liaise with the planning teams on any required outage over and above the weekly maintenance day on each line
- Issue the weekly plan to both engineering and operations personnel
- Review the weekly plan completion rate on a daily basis and re-plan any work as required
- Review the weekly maintenance plan and produce a daily and weekly compliance figure for review

**2. Formal overhaul planning in place**:

- Review with the engineering team each machine overhaul requirements
- Co-ordinate delivery of the required parts and equipment to site through the support of the stores person
- Issue a formal overhaul plan with estimated parts required and resource allocation
- During the overhaul outage issue daily updates against the formal plan to both engineering and operations personnel so that they are aware of current status
- Review completion rate of overhaul tasks by machine and issue a compliance report to engineering management
- Replan any tasks that were not completed for future maintenance days

**3. Ongoing management of the company CMMS**:

- All equipment / assets on site are captured within the company CMMS
- All assets that require maintaining have a formal planned maintenance task clearly define, scheduled with the relevant spare packs identified
- Regular review and updating of the planned maintenance schedules takes place with the support of the engineering team
- All engineering spend is allocated to the relevant assets to allow a total cost of ownership to be calculated for each asset
- Standardised work flow diagrams are in place to Standardise working methods across the department in relation to the CMMS

**4. Weekly contractor plan creation and execution**:

- Review weekly contractor PM’s generated for site assets
- Issue contractor requirement to either Facilities, services or engineering personnel to arrange for the relevant contractor to be contacted to attend site
- Capture any costs of the visit against the work order so it is ultimately captured against the asset
- Issue the weekly contractor plan to both engineering and operations personnel
- Review the weekly plan completion rate and issue a compliance figure

**5. KPI reporting**:

- Provide management reports on weekly engineering plan compliance
- Provide management reports on line overhaul outage plan compliance
- Generation of asset total cost of ownership reports to support the engineering improvement process

**Qualifications & Experience**

1. Essential - Computer literate

2. Essential - Full UK Driving licence

3. Preferred - Exposure to project or overhaul work

4. Preferred - 3 years plus experience in a manufacturing environment

**Knowledge**

1. Preferred - understanding of best practice maintenance processes

2. Preferred - understanding and use of computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)

**Skills**
